If a person, other than the conpiracy guild originating from the white board, truly believed that this was the intended price then yes the business is at fault. But, Spawn board members did know the actual retail price. Rather than notifying the business of their error and possibly promoting goodwill, they decided instead to knowingly bilk the store. I know my arguments wouldn't have a prayer in a court of law and the store's credibility and assets would be wiped out due to a typo. Had the store's original intent been to defraud the consumer then I would agree with you 100%. As it is, I agree with you partially with the way the store mishandled their realization of the mistake.

And yes, I know it's all in fun. I enjoy these type of debates that can stay intellectual and civil, even if a bit tongue-in-cheek at points. I think the major point to this Andy, is the fact they fraudulantly cancelled all the orders at that price and labeled it as a discontinued item, knowing damn well that it wasn't, because TMP would have stated so on the front page of the website.They deliberately tried to cover up their error, instead of coming right out and saying "Sorry, we screwed up, you can still have it at the normal price, or can cancel your order". That to me, is fraud to your customers. I will not be doing business with them ever, now that I know how they treat their customers.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">"They" discontinued the item not McFarlane. It's called covering your ass. Like SS said, if they were ever to feature the item in their store again then yes, that would be fraud.

In reality my whole issue with this scenario is that people who know full well they were taking advantage of a typo are bitching that they didn't get that price.
